| Instrument Placement Rear |
| This the rear view of an instrument placement study. These instruments were modeled with Inventor8, and were drawn to be somewhat life-like, so as to be easily recognized by all of the scientists involved in the project. I used Inventor for this because it allowed me to build a base framework around the ergonomic component placement the chemists wanted. |
 |
| Instrument Placement Front |
| This is a front view of an instrument placement study, showing how a bounding box is used as an assembly guide, in order to organize all other assemblies and constraints in an easily recognizable, visual fashion. |

| Design Presentation |
| This
is a design presentation drawn in Inventor9 Beta. It shows a small
valve body (about the size of a U.S. Fifty Cent Piece), Photo Multiplier
Tube, Light Emitting Diode, and other components. Some of
the fastener hardware is freeware from Charles Bliss's Inventor website

| Realistic View |
| A more realistic, finished product view for the scientists to nit-pick. |
 |
| Drawn wiring |
| This is one of the few times I've actually taken the time to draw wiring using the AutoDesk Inventor Series. I found it challenging, but once you understand the software's ability and limitations, it's well worth the time and only gets easier to manage. This wiring is actually color coded, true to scale and useable in the design, and I feel that it helps represent a better, more realistic presentation. |
